Devon County Council ‘a number of employees at County Hall have expressed the need to find space that can be used for contemplation and prayer. A recent survey highlighted that some staff would welcome a quiet space that can be used for meditation, worship or contemplation.
Moto The UK’s largest motorway services provider states: ‘As part of [road safety] initiatives, we are currently trialling contemplation rooms at a number of Moto locations to aid relaxation. The rooms are designed to let drivers unwind in a quiet atmosphere, away from the hurly-burly of a busy motorway.’
